Life with a new baby is very very exciting. I however wasn't able to enjoy breastfeeding him and caring for him full time since birth since my pre-eclampsia is still at it's critical stage and I have to super rest and take meds. I'm super thankful for my husband who gets up every night to feed Darren and my wonderful Mother who took over when my husband has to leave for a business trip for a week. I'm still on anti hypertensive meds which will end in 2 days time and my Valium meds which I had to take for 4 days is done and over with. I needed to take it as my BP reached 160/110 mmhg and my OB was concerned that I might get eclampsia. My latest BP is 120/90 mmHg. It goes up to 130/90 but rarely 140/100 mmHg. I'm happy. I hope it will improve. I had to eat low sodium food so basically it's so not masarap but ok lang.
I'm just thankful and greatful for my wonderful husband who takes care of me and the best mother in world who loves Darren as he's her own child too :) Well he's her grandchild.
